I Am Easy To Find is The National’s eighth studio album — a wide, generous work that follows Sleep Well Beast and opens the band’s sound outward.

Released here as a Deluxe Indies Only Clear Vinyl 2LP, the record unfolds patiently, shaped by place, presence, and collaboration. Much of it was recorded at Long Pond in New York’s Hudson Valley, with songs also taking form across cities and continents — Paris, Berlin, Cincinnati, Austin, Dublin, Brooklyn, and beyond.

The album lives alongside a companion short film of the same name — a parallel work of sound and image, directed by Mike Mills and starring Alicia Vikander. Film and record speak to one another, each expanding the emotional and narrative reach of the other.

Voices move in and out of the frame. Contributions from Sharon Van Etten, Lisa Hannigan, Mina Tindle, and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus give the songs a shared, human weight — intimacy multiplied rather than diluted.

This is a record about connection and distance. About holding many perspectives at once. About letting others speak.
