Terms of service
Welcome to Let There Be.
By accessing our website or purchasing from us, you agree to the following Terms of Service.
These terms exist to create clarity, fairness, and mutual respect as we serve you through physical music and carefully sourced releases.
1. General Conditions
Let There Be is a small, independent, family-run Australian business.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
By using this site, you confirm that you are at least the age of majority in your place of residence, or have given consent for a minor dependent to use this site.
2. Products & Availability
We specialise in limited-run vinyl, pre-orders, and special-sourced records.
Because of this:
• Stock availability may change without notice
• Some items may be subject to supplier allocation
• We reserve the right to cancel or refund orders if stock cannot be fulfilled
If this occurs, you will be notified promptly and refunded in full.
3. Pre-Orders & Special Orders
Pre-order and special order items are purchased specifically on your behalf.
By purchasing these items, you acknowledge:
• Release dates may change
• Supplier delays are outside our control
• Orders cannot be cancelled for change of mind
If a title is cancelled by the supplier, a full refund will be issued.
4. Pricing & Payments
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD).
We reserve the right to adjust pricing at any time without notice.
Payment must be received in full before orders are processed or shipped.
If a payment gateway error occurs, we reserve the right to hold or cancel the order until payment is successfully completed.
5. Shipping
Shipping timeframes are estimates only.
Once orders leave our care, delivery speed is the responsibility of the shipping provider.
Let There Be is not liable for:
• Postal delays
• Lost parcels (though we will assist in claims)
• Customs delays for international orders
6. Returns & Faulty Goods
Please refer to our Return Policy.
We do not accept returns for change of mind.
We will replace, refund, or credit items that arrive damaged, faulty, or incorrect in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
7. Condition of Vinyl Records
Vinyl is a physical medium and minor imperfections may occur.
The following are not considered faults:
• Slight sleeve creasing
• Corner dings
• Minor warp that does not affect playback
• Surface noise inherent to vinyl pressings
We will always advocate for you where genuine manufacturing faults exist.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including logos, branding, images, written content, and design — is the property of Let There Be and may not be reproduced without permission.
9. Limitation of Liability
Let There Be shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.
Our liability is limited to the value of the goods purchased.
10. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
We do not sell or share customer data with third parties beyond what is required to process orders.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms of Service at any time.
Changes take effect immediately upon publication on this site.
