Cancellation policy
Purchase Options & Cancellation Policy — Let There Be
At Let There Be, many of the records we offer are sourced intentionally — including pre-orders, special orders, and limited pressings secured specifically on behalf of each customer.
Because of this, our cancellation terms differ from standard retail.
Pre-Orders
When you place a pre-order, you are securing a copy of a forthcoming release that we are committing to purchase from our suppliers on your behalf.
By completing a pre-order, you acknowledge and agree:
• Pre-orders cannot be cancelled for change of mind
• Release dates may shift due to label or distributor delays
• Delivery timeframes are estimates only
• Orders will ship once stock arrives with us
If a release is cancelled by the label or supplier, a full refund will be issued.
Special Orders / Customer Requests
Special order items (including customer-requested titles we do not normally stock) are purchased specifically for you.
These orders:
• Cannot be cancelled once placed
• Cannot be returned for change of mind
• Are not eligible for refund unless faulty or damaged
We encourage thoughtful purchasing before requesting special-sourced records.
In-Stock Items
Orders for in-stock items may be cancelled only before shipment.
Once an order has been packed or dispatched, it is considered fulfilled and cannot be cancelled.
Subscription / Purchase Option Plans (if applicable)
If you offer future memberships, listening clubs, or record subscriptions, you can add:
• Cancellations must be made before the next billing cycle
• No partial refunds are issued once billing has processed

Faulty or Damaged Items
All cancellation limitations sit alongside your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
If an item arrives:
• Faulty
• Damaged in transit
• Incorrect
We will replace, refund, or provide store credit in line with our Returns Policy.
We honour every order as a commitment — both to you and to the artists and distributors we source from.
