Ocean Alley’s fourth album is shaped by the places they know best — salt air, long drives, shared rooms, and time spent making music without hurry.

Written in bedrooms during lockdown and finished on trips up and down Australia’s east coast, the record carries the band’s laidback spirit into something deeper and more exploratory. What began in isolation became a collective return — six friends gathering again to build songs slowly, together.

The sound feels familiar and newly restless at the same time. Warm grooves and organic instrumentation remain at the core, while new textures emerge — drum loops, heavier distortion, and moments that push beyond their comfort zone. It’s relaxed without being lazy. Experimental without losing its soul.

At its heart, this album is about grounding. Coming back to what matters. Holding space for growth, love, loss, and the simple pleasures that keep life moving.
